Hello World-Wide-Webbers and Ultimate Blog Partiers!
I have to tell you about this amazing company I have come to have a wonderful relationship with! The company is called 31 Bits, and they are amazing!
This is the blurb from 31 Bits’ website “31 Bits is centered around using the creative art and entrepreneurship already present in the women. Our goal is to help get them out of poverty, provide consistent schooling for their children, and proper nutrition and healthcare for the entire family. We do this by creating an international market and a voice for the beautiful jewelry the women are already making. All of our products are bought directly from the women, are fair trade, are made from recycled paper, and are sold in boutiques across the United States. We envision that in two years we will expand 31 Bits to partner with local Non Government Organizations to initiate and fund community based projects directed by the needs and desires of the community.”
Wow, tell me that right there doesn’t make you want to buy a truckload of them?! Well if that didn’t get you then skiddadle your little booty over to 31Bits and check out the amazing necklaces and bracelets. I bought one at an event they had at our Church, then I got talking to the girls, Kallie, Brooke, Jessie, Anna, and Alli. I loved everything they told me about 31 Bits, everything they told me about the women, everything they told me about their lives over in Uganda. These girls are doing amazing things, with amazing Ugandan designing women, thanking God all the while!
As I sat in their office getting to know these girls, asking how I can help out, I browsed the drawers, bought so many bracelets and necklaces and I’m still overflowing my closet with them… I girl can never have too much jewelry! (My husband sometimes disagrees, but then he loves the designs I’ve picked out, so I think he doesn’t mind)
These necklaces and Bracelets are made by hand, out of 100% recycled paper by women in Uganda I dream of meeting. These designs mean the world to me personally because I want to visit someday and hug these women that have blessed my life with such gorgeous creations!
31 Bits has recently been blessed in a new exciting venture… they partnered with Reef to make the
The Ugandal
Anyway, I own many 31 Bits bracelets and necklaces and yet I can’t get enough of them… so scoot on over and get in on my obsession!
